N Power is the fourth largest energy provider in the UK and has announced that it has had to put up their price due to rapid wholesale price increase. Domestic customers of N Power will see the bills rise up by 12.7% for electricity and 17.2% for gas. The wholesale prices for N power have increased by 66% for electricity and 60% for gas.

These price increases will have almost immediate effect as the price rise starts from 5^th January. It has been predicted that other providers will probably have to follow shortly and also increase their prices.
