Vodafone is the biggest network in the UK. It has great coverage both at home and abroad. The company is also a major player in most European areas as well as Australia.

Vodafone has some of the best value pay monthly packages on the market, along with great exclusive phones. It has very good delivery times along with offering comprehensive insurance on their phones.

We particularly like the Vodafone Passport product, which allows you to take your domestic tariff abroad. It's free to activate and means that you can call at domestic rates while abroad, except for a small connection fee. We think this represents excellent value for money, particularly when compared to the very expensive roaming packages from the other networks. Therefore, we particularly recommend Vodafone to customers who are expecting to roam significantly during their contract.

Coverage could be a lot better - I drive from North Wales to S,Wales on a regular basis and Vodafone coverage leaves a lot to be desired. Coverage 6miles outside Wrexham abysmal. Fine in London, good in Derbyshire and Cardiff. Reliable billing, customer services seem ok. But my current phone (Motorola V3X) is (and always has been) a nightmare. It's on it's way back now for the fourth or fifth time and I'm somewhat disappointed that vodafone haven't yet exchanged an obviously faulty handset after repeat visits to one of their outlets.

Our Conclusion:
Vodafone is still the biggest player in the UK mobile market and is able to offer great value packages and many exclusive free phones.

The company's current 3G offer is one of the best on the market and we at mobilereview.org.uk highly recommend them.
